Wordsmiths & Readers of Tarrant (12/2/17)

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” ~ Dr. Suess ~
Such a delightfully simple and, yet, such a wonderfully profound quote.
Just think. All the answers to anything you ever wanted to know are in a book somewhere. If you want to improve your marriage, read a book.  If you want to organize your finances, read a book.  If you want to get healthier, become more involved in politics, or if you want to learn how to build a rocket ship, it’s safe to say, you could hit up any Half Price Books and find several good books about each topic.
Just think about how many of the issues we face in our personal lives that could’ve been resolved a long ago, if we’d just taken the time to sit down and read a book about it–simply invested time into ingesting the knowledge composed and presented for us.
It’s a tragedy when you think about it. Millions upon millions are suffering in America simply because they don’t read.
And, then, if that is the case, the question becomes, how much should one be reading. Is there more to the act of reading other than simply just pulling information from inscription?
Well, as Allison Fowler, seasoned writer and health care professional, and I, The Stormy Poet, discuss in-depth, the act of reading, in and of itself, has the power to empower you in more ways than you probably ever knew.
If you’re a writer, no matter what genre you specialize in, please don’t compose another sentence without watching this presentation first.

  1. This is amazing and very informative. I read daily and always saw it as important. I like the way you explained it because I could not put it into words when explaining to someone why they should read, even if it is just fiction novels they like.

You are great at using your words to help others and I hope this reaches more people.
