Brothers,
I do talk about race, daily. As a black man, I’m bound by duty to do so, as every black man should because we live under an unjust social system that threatens the very existence of us and of everyone who looks like us. I understand what I talk about isn’t glamorous, fun, glitzy, or lighthearted, but, as black men, it’s our duty to be steadfast and unwavering as the thought leaders and as the leaders of substantive action in the community.
The work against wyte supremacy is oftentimes gritty, boring, thankless, it makes you lose people who you thought were friends, and extremely tedious. But, our job as black men is to be the ultimate example of what male leadership looks like by enduring and conquering these obstacles, to set an example for other black people and for the rest of the world to reference.
Nothing is more manly than doing the will of The Maker and standing up to injustice, and we as black men are charged with facing the greatest form of unrighteousness the world has ever known. And, failure is not an option. As men, it is time for us to stop talking, and it’s time for us to do the physical work of building.
One Love & One Justice,
