If you,
yes, the "you" reading this,
should seek pride in nothing else,
partaking in the kind such as this proves mandatory.
Revel in the honorable and cosmically composed fact,
you,
as sure as the Mississippi Sound's daily charge and retreat,
are The Maker's Poem.
Should you dare to utter "Why so?"
I then know,
you're sense of awareness has grown dreary and dull.
For, behold,
your being--
the very essence
of your existence
on every mortal plane--
consists of the same elements stars stem from
and formulates every fabric of a soul's cloth;
you're crafted
of the same materials to ever exist and formulated by the ones that'll ever be.
From the Soul,

๐“The Maker’s Poem (Poem)” is a piece from my upcoming published anthology, “Return from the Pale Trail: Gifts to Humanity We’ve Been Taught to Forget.” I’m ecstatic to share this wonderful piece of literature with the family. I hope you all enjoy. Until then, feel free to check out my other published materials.
Awesome poem, and by the way…been a longtime follower of your work. I took an absence and long break for a while and had two poetry blogs I ran, but have I come back with version 2.0 of me and my poetic work. Do I sound familiar to you?
