To feed someone is nothing short of a privilege. To do so is to be ordained with the distinct honor of a family member, a friend, an acquaintance, or, in some cases, a random stranger putting their lives in your hands with little pre-qualification. Moreover, preparing a meal for another is the very act of providing a life force to someone who shares your mortal experience.
To cook is to literally give life to others, and they are under the natural assumption one is doing just that--because why would a fellow human have reason to do otherwiseโฝ
That's why, out of all the law and true crime material I've witnessed, I find those who tamper with people's food to be the most cowardly, despicable, and heinously wicked.
The definition of a witch is one who willfully pollutes and violates the great, unifying communion act all man โ woman both share in sharing a meal.
They're none more cowardly than those who poison or mishandle food.

๐โEpiphany #12: Forgiveness Is Dailyโ is a piece from my upcoming published anthology, โReturn from the Pale Trail: Gifts to Humanity Weโve Been Taught to Forget.โ Iโm ecstatic to share this wonderful piece of literature with the family. I hope you all enjoy. Until then, feel free to check out my other published materials.
This hit deep cuzzo. Thanks for sharing!
