Summer School (Poem)

While most long
for crisp air and orange leaves
,
far too often
they, ungratefully, pay no homage
to the humid haze and brazen blaze,
which inspired them to appreciate
and desire such features, to begin with.

We should, more often
respect the sweat.
For, it makes it possible
for us to exist
to be made in awe of Fall phenoms.

Let this season encourage thankful vibes,
for,
if leaves are green this time of year,
how are we not blessed?
Let's not make summer
the exception.
For,
we must observe and seek to comprehend
the lessons of every season.

From the Heart,
