Sobriety (Poem)

Frighteningly.
Frantically.
Pitifully.
Pathetically.
Shamefully.
Shockingly.
Shamelessly.
Mockingly.
Moldy.
Murky.
Immobily.
Dreadfully.
Disastrously.
Untruthfully.
Unscrupulously.
Deceptively.
Deviously.
Secretly.
Seductively.
Lonesomely.
Secludedly.
Solely.
Soulessly.
Companion-lessly
Left-for-dead-fully.
Savagely.
Sadistically.
Wrathfully.
Regretfully.
Recklessly.
Tragically and monumentally mournfully.
I drank as he and as his did before him.

Miraculously.
Mercifully.
Patiently.
Painstakingly.
Selflessly.
Sacrifishily.
Graciously.
Gleefully.
Courteously.
Carefully.
Empathetically.
Sympathetically.
Supportingingly.
Even when I was inconvenient and irritatingly.
Readily.
Rigorously.
Forgivingly.
To the friendship, faithfully.
Courageously.
Charasmatically.
Calmly.
Calculatingly.
Consistently.
Persistently.
Joyfully.
Genuinely.

His strategically planted children who fought ferociously for my fate,
even those who didn't or who barely knew my name,
lovingly.
