The Maker’s Poem (Poem)

If you,
yes, the "you" reading this,
should seek pride in nothing else,
partaking in the kind such as this proves mandatory
.

Revel in the honorable and cosmically composed fact,
you,
as sure as the Mississippi Sound's daily charge and retreat,
are The Maker's Poem.

Should you dare to utter "Why so?"
I then know,
you're sense of awareness has grown dreary and dull.

For, behold,
your being--
the very essence
of your existence
on every mortal plane--
consists of the same elements stars stem from
and formulates every fabric of a soul's cloth;
you're crafted
of the same materials to ever exist and formulated by the ones that'll ever be.

From the Soul,

  1. Awesome poem, and by the way…been a longtime follower of your work. I took an absence and long break for a while and had two poetry blogs I ran, but have I come back with version 2.0 of me and my poetic work. Do I sound familiar to you?

    1. Hey Brother!

I appreciate the positive words my guy. Hey man I’m just realizing it’s you, Maurice. Awesome to hear from you. I just shot you an e-mail to your Gmail. Please let me know you got it when you get a chance. Looking forward to chopping up, sir.
